All attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers and staff at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. MISTI will enforce this code throughout the conference.
MISTI is dedicated to creating a safe, harassment-free environment where participants can comfortably learn and network with their peers as well our speakers, sponsors and staff.
Therefore, harassment at the IT Audit & Controls Conference is absolutely prohibited.
Harassment includes any behavior that a fellow participant would find intimidating, hostile or offensive. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal comments regarding gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or political beliefs.
Sexual language and imagery is also not tolerated during any part of ITAC 2018, including breakout sessions, keynote sessions, workshops, summits, networking receptions or online media. ITAC participants who violate these rules may be asked to leave the conference without refund at the discretion of MISTI.
See something, say something. If you are being harassed or if you see someone being harassed, please let one of the ITAC 2018 team members know as soon as possible. Participant safety and happiness is our top concern.
Simply put, treat your peers as you would want to be treated.
